Seeks to promote the best in contemporary craft from both new and recognised designers through a programme of exhibitions and showcases.

Held in the Hand

The Held in the Hand project was commissioned by Leicestershire Artworks in 2008, with funding from Renaissance.  Thirteen artists from across the UK were commissioned to create tactile objects small enough to be held in the hand. The collection of objects, housed in their special box, is available for loan to schools in Leicestershire to use for creative projects.
